Synopsis

Football Manager 3 is a team management simulation where the player is responsible for the sporting performance of a football team in Great Britain. The game is controlled via menus accessible by clicking on graphic elements in a virtual desktop. The emphasis is on the sporting aspect, such as tactics, training (configurable for each player) and team composition, the financial aspect being mainly limited to the buying and selling of players on the transfer market. Each player of course has statistics that influence his performance on the pitch. Matches are displayed from two fixed perspectives: a top view or a slightly tilted side view, on which relatively small player icons move.
