Synopsis

In Fortress, two rival lords battle for control of the countryside. Play as the White Lord or the Black Lord on a 6x6 grid. In 21 turns, build new castles or strengthen existing ones. The outcome of battles is determined by the power of the castles: the most powerful wins, while in the event of a tie, a siege is necessary. Strengthening your fortresses increases their power, and only careful planning and timing will allow you to control as much territory as possible at the end of the last turn.
