Four Trax
Synopsis
Four Trax is a Namco arcade game released in 1989 in Japan, using Namco System 2 hardware.
It offers all-terrain quad races for one to four players, thanks to the connection of two two-player terminals.
Each quad is identified by a color (red, white, yellow, green).
The player must complete each round in a limited time, extended with each successful round; if he fails, his game stops immediately while the race continues for the others.
Up to six laps may be required depending on the configuration, and the best times can be recorded in the record table.
Players must complete between three and six rounds of the circuit to win (the number depends on the configuration of the two terminals, as for the Final Lap of Namco). Players will also encounter between four and seven computer-controlled blue motorcycles on the track, as the number depends on the number of people playing (seven for one player, six for two, five for three, and four for four).
