Synopsis

In Frightmare, you play as a man who is experiencing a terrible nightmare. And if you die there in this nightmare, you really die...
Your mission is to survive long enough to wake up. For each room visited, an additional 6 minutes pass, and at 8:12 a.m., the alarm goes off, saving your life.
Your second goal is to improve your dream state. You start with a "bad dream", but by killing monsters and collecting chalices you can get much worse dreams, like a "terrible dream" or a "deadly vision". Your dream state is displayed as text at the top of the screen and has no other impact on gameplay.
This is a horror game in which you will have to face zombies, bats, ghosts and other terrible creatures. If they hit you, you lose one of your five lives.
