Synopsis

Funky Head Boxers is a slapstick boxing game adapted from the arcade game of the same title. This console conversion is similar to the arcade version, but features significant changes and new content. Notably, the cast of boxers, originally made up of members of Sega's development staff, was largely replaced with real-life voice actors and actors represented by talent agency Yoshimoto Kogyo.
This version includes a new "Champion Mode" in which the player chooses a boxer and must train him to increase his stats by winning fights. There is also a standard versus mode against the computer or another player.
