Synopsis

In 1996, the first Rim Race took place on a specially built track in the Arizona desert called the Rim, with a diameter of 20 km and a length of 60 km, the construction of which took eight years. Over the next two weeks, more than 1,000 pilots clashed, resulting in many deaths. In the last race, there were only three drivers left in the race, and it was Seya Alkli who won. Over the next 45 years, the race took on many forms and took place in many locations. It was broadcast throughout the solar system by a television station, and in 2045 the race is presented in the form that people (and aliens) know.
Twelve rings surround an artificial planet called Devs, orbiting Jupiter. Each ring has a diameter of 100 km and a length of 300 km. You play as a driver who tries to make your way through this violent driving sport by driving as fast as possible, destroying other drivers and avoiding getting killed. In addition to the main competitors, there are pilots called Noids who are beginner pilots who hope to survive to become real competitors. These are the drivers you must kill to meet the quotas set by the race organizers. The money you earn allows you to buy better cars and better weapons, including flamethrowers, missiles and rail guns.
