Synopsis

42 billion years ago, the Supreme Being outsourced human evolution to Gal-Corps on the planet Maltron. After a drunken evening, their work suffers and the Scroll of Evolution is broken into 16 pieces scattered to the four winds. Today, Glob is responsible for finding these pieces and putting the scroll back together.

Future Shock is a side-view fixed-screen game. You must explore the rooms to collect the pieces of the scroll, represented by the letter P, before the candle goes out. Glob only moves left to right and must fall into other rooms to progress. Some rooms reverse gravity, causing Glob to float towards the ceiling, but after four pieces are collected, gravity returns to normal. Elevators provide access to elevated areas. The creatures present are harmless. The P key activates Puzzle mode to arrange the pieces in the correct order.
