Synopsis

G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero is an action platform game on NES in which you play a squad of 3 members of G.I Joe to choose from Duke, Snake Eyes, Blizzard, Captain Grid-Iron and Rock 'n Roll (one agent is automatically designated for each mission, the other two are to be chosen). A sixth Hawk agent gives mission orders and is available for the final internship.
It is possible to control vehicles: the Buzz Boar, the Pogo and the Battle Copter.
The 6 missions that the G.I. Joe commando must accomplish take place in the Amazon, Antarctica, New York, the Black Hills and the Sahara. The final stage being at Cobra Headquarters. Each mission takes place in three phases, first the commando must make their way to a Cobra base, then the 3 agents must place a certain number of bombs in the base within a time limit and finally a fight against an end-of-level boss among whom we find Range-Viper, Metal-Head, Overlord, Voltar, Destro and the Cobra commander himself.
