Synopsis
Gain Ground is a one- or two-player shoot'em up, featuring single screen levels, in which the player must rescue soldiers before escaping.
Players can choose one character from three, each with their own weapons, strengths and weaknesses. Time is running out, and soldiers who do not leave the level are lost. All saved soldiers join the player's ranks as bonus lives. The levels include plains, castles, forests, forts, etc.
