Synopsis

Gary Lineker Hot-Shot! is a football match in which two teams try to win the match. Adjustable options are number of players, half time and AI level. The game is played in a top-down view and only shows part of the playing field.

The player controls the athlete in possession of the ball or, when defending, whoever is closest. When shooting, the power of the shot depends on how long the button has been pressed and the direction changes with movement of the joystick, e.g. moving against the direction of travel results in an overhead kick.
