Synopsis

As a local historian, you had been granted entry into the great library of Karoway Manor. Between the pages of an ancient book, you found a seemingly much older sheet of paper. he spoke of a stone gateway to the mythical land of the karos which only opened at midnight on the summer solstice. Had it not been for the majestic stone arch in the center of the mansion's lawn, and that it was then dusk on a midsummer day, you could have turned the page over without a thought... This is a vast and fascinating adventure with the emphasis firmly on intrigue and ingenuity. There is more than one route to many of Karos Island's treasures, but whichever path you choose, you will be beset by the trench. even retrieving the Talisman of Khoronz - which you will learn about during your travels - will not be a guarantee of safe return nor evidence against wishing you had remained a historian in a quiet manor library.
