Synopsis

Gateway to the Savage Frontier is an Advanced Rules Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game from the Gold Box series, set in the Savage Frontier region of the Forgotten Realms. Gameplay is very similar to other games in the series, with creating and leading a team of six adventurers following AD&D rules, first-person exploration, and turn-based combat. The game introduces a mode of movement on a world map including encounters with enemies, as well as side quests linked to characters that can be triggered by finding certain non-player characters.
