Synopsis

GeGeGe no Kitarō: Gentō Kaikitan is an adventure game based on the long-running manga series created by Shigeru Mizuki. It's winter, and snow has started to fall in the forest where Kitarō and his friends live... But, even in winter, snow never falls normally in their forest, and Kitarō worries about what that might mean. The game follows the standard audio novel format, with voiceless dialogue and still-frame narration describing the current scene, occasionally interrupted by choices that direct the story's path.
Three main scenarios can play out:
One in which Kitarō investigates the recent disappearance of bodies.
One in which he searches for the source of the mysterious snow.
One in which a fake copy of Kitarō himself appears, each with multiple endings dependent on the player's choices.
