Synopsis

Ghouls is a single-screen platformer where you must control a creature and collect power gems taken by ghosts and stored in a haunted mansion. Starting at the bottom of the screen, you need to jump and walk across platforms to get to your power gems at the top of the screen. Some of the jewels have come loose and you can collect them by moving around the screen. There are also ghosts, spiders and various obstacles like moving spikes and platforms on the screen and if you touch a ghost, a spike or a drop from a certain height, you lose one of four lives. You can collect a special gem that makes ghosts disappear for a few seconds and springs allow you to jump higher. A timer counts down and a level must be completed within the time limit or you lose a life.
