Synopsis
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu, often translated as Legend of the Galactic Heroes, is a sci-fi strategy game for the NES where players control a fleet of spaceships. Based on the long series of space opera novels of the same name, also adapted into manga and anime, this game is one of the many video game versions of the franchise. The objective is to manage and issue orders to fleet commanders, ultimately leading to large-scale battles against rival empires. The game features a MIDI version of Ravel's "Boléro", adding an operatic ambiance.
