Synopsis

Kaiser Knuckle follows the same conventions as Street Fighter II. The player character faces his opponent in matches in two out of three rounds, in solo tournament mode, against the computer or against another human player. The player has nine fighters and three bosses, each with their own fighting style and special techniques. The controls are configured according to the standard six-button, but it is possible to change to five buttons via the settings. Kaiser Knuckle is the first and only fighting game to feature five basic attack forces.
Another particularity lies in the introduction of power zones, usable by a successful special move when the player's crush gauge is full. Power zones (fire or electric) can affect a character's special move. Backgrounds can be destructible when players are hit to charge, and when these meters are full.
