Synopsis

Arcade translation of Sega's SDI. You pilot a satellite in space. Your job: destroy the alien attackers who are waging nuclear war against the planets of the solar system, including Earth and even the moon! What's unique about this title is that the satellite and your main weapon move independently of each other. Place your satellite too far from the action and the bullets take too long to reach your target. It's a good balance between dodging objects essential to your survival and taking down enemy targets. If the planet takes too much damage, you lose. There are offensive and defensive combat modes. There is also a 2 player mode where you and a friend can team up with one controlling the satellite and the other controlling the weapon, making this a multiplayer game as well.
