Gloom
Synopsis
As the title suggests, Gloom is an attempt to recreate Doom for the Amiga. In 1995, it was a big target for programmers, as it was believed that the Amiga 1200 was capable of bringing first-person 3D action to life.
Gloom was written by the respected team at Acid Software in New Zealand and published by Guildhall who strongly supported the Amiga in its later years. The emphasis was on action, rather than collecting keys and navigating through maps.
