Synopsis

Go Player is a computer adaptation of the ancient board game Go that is most commonly played in East Asia. The basic principle is that two players (one white, the other black) place stones on a 19x19 board. The goal is to control areas as large as possible on the board by surrounding them with your own stones. Likewise, enemy stones can be removed from play by circling them. At the end of the match (when both players pass their turn), the size of the areas controlled and the stones removed determine the winner.
