Synopsis

Gokumakaimura Kai is a remake of Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins. It uses many elements of the game (pieces of the original soundtrack, level system, characters, story, gameplay, etc.) while bringing its share of originalities (inventory, new character movements, new objects - weapons, armor, shields, magic, sticks -, new levels).

The graphics are those of a new generation console, with a mixture of 3D effects in 2D levels, a greater graphic depth than that of old generation consoles (which we mainly find in the texture of the levels and bosses), while retaining a certain retro effect (style of the logo and the world map) specific to the series.
