Synopsis

Gold Bug is an arcade game in the style of Dig Dug where the player digs galleries to collect gold and fill the trailers at the bottom of the screen with dirt.
Monsters patrol the terrain, they advance slowly into the ground but become very fast in tunnels already dug, which creates a constant tension.
To defend himself, the player can release a “bug” contained in a canister, this creature automatically rises to the surface devouring everything it touches, enemies as player.
When the player picks up a gold nugget, the monsters turn white and can be eliminated on contact to get extra points.
Unlike other games of the genre, the goal is not to eliminate all enemies but to dig enough ground to fill all trailers, join the flag on the surface and thus complete the level.
