Synopsis

In Gold Rush, Jerrod Wilson (the player) receives a letter from his long-lost brother (who fled town years before after being hastily accused and convicted of a crime he did not commit) asking him to join him in Sacramento, California. If that wasn't enough for Jerrod to sell out and bid farewell to his hometown of Brooklyn, the stamp contained one of the first California gold nuggets seen on the Atlantic shores of the United States. Jerrod therefore bids farewell to his peaceful life as a newspaper editor and becomes a precursor to the great gold rush of 1849, in the hope of finding his brother and "finding gold" (literally).
