Synopsis

Golgo 13 is an optical gun shooter where the player takes on the role of Duke Togo, aka Golgo 13, the world's most fearsome and highest paid assassin, armed with a semi-automatic sniper rifle. Unlike other games in the genre, it is very story-driven and combines 3D and 2D graphical elements. Each mission begins with a 2D comic (in Japanese) introducing the context. The objective, time limit, target area and available ammunition are then displayed. The player's performance is evaluated at the end of each mission, with monetary rewards based on success and accuracy. If you fail or exceed the time, the accuracy score decreases. The game ends when this precision reaches zero. Five missions are available at the start and can be played in any order. After each set of five missions, a new round of missions opens, with four rounds in total, increasingly difficult. The last one includes a special stage unlocked after completing all the missions, followed by the credits and a return to the start of the game.
