Synopsis

In GP Tennis Manager, you manage the career of a promising young tennis player, with the goal of reaching the top of the world rankings. You start with a budget and select a beginner player from countries like France, Italy or the United States, taking into account criteria such as dominant hand, endurance, technique, age and height. In the management phase, you pay tournament registration fees, buy rackets, find sponsors and analyze your opponents. After tournaments, you can choose to train or rest to improve your form. Matches can be simulated automatically or played manually. The C64 version features a top-down view, with players controllable in eight directions on the court. Before you start, you can adjust the career duration, difficulty level and number of players. In multiplayer, players manage their careers successively, but can play matches simultaneously.
