Synopsis

Gradius II is the sequel to Gradius, a revolutionary shmup for its time. This second episode offers the same game system: the Vic Viper's weaponry evolves with the options you pick up. It's up to you to upgrade the speed and fire of your ship. Small novelty compared to the 1st episode: this time you have the choice between 4 different evolution patterns, to give a little strategy and replayability to the whole.
Like its elder, this Gradius II is a classic, and like its elder; it has been adapted on many media. This PC Engine version is nevertheless very faithful to the arcade.
