Synopsis

The planet Gradius is under attack from Bacterions. The famous Vic Viper must infiltrate the Xaerous Fortress and eliminate the central biocomputer. A simple scenario that reveals the very essence of shmup: shoot everything that moves to ultimately destroy the only brain in the game!

This PC Engine version has a successive two-player mode as well as a new fifth level. This takes place on a planet covered by skeletal dinosaurs
