Synopsis

Formula 1 races are recreated in detail in this simulation. You have the choice of driving a Ferrari 187/88C, a McLaren MP4/4 or a Williams FW12, each with different qualities. Rival drivers also have their own style and strengths, and to win the world championship you will need to master them. Timing and planning of pit stops are also crucial, although only tires are changed in late aughts F1 1980.

You can choose to drive a single race in Brazil, Great Britain, Monaco, (West) Germany [Hockenheim], Canada, Italy, Detroit and Japan [Suzuka] or compete in a full championship at all circuits. Each race includes a qualifying round. The game's graphics are sprite-based.
