Synopsis

Grand Theft Auto V takes place five years after Grand Theft Auto IV and now takes place in Los Santos. It centers on three protagonists: Michael, Trevor and Franklin.

New to the series is that the player can switch between characters on the fly. They each have different missions, lives and personalities. They also often find themselves together, especially for heists, a type of complex mission where you have to plan and execute a large operation by determining a strategy and hiring additional henchmen.

As in previous games in the series, gameplay involves shootouts and takes place in a sprawling open-world city where players move around by acquiring transportation (cars, boats, helicopters, etc.) through less-than-legal means.
