Synopsis

The Great Battle Gaiden 2: Matsuri da Wasshoi is an atypical “non-series” game from The Great Battle sub-series, which brings together the flagship titles of the Compati Hero series. The game revolves around an alien invasion occurring during a festival, and features four heroes: Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Knight Gundam from Gundam and Fighter Roar, a character created especially for The Great Battle series.

The game mixes several genres. The main gameplay is a platform game where the player can jump from one floor to another, like Ninja-Kid or Mr. Goemon. If the player passes through a flying door, they are transported to a shoot 'em up level in which they control a flying lobster that fights samurai heads and Maneki Nekos.
