Synopsis
The game is presented in a realistic visual style using scans of real players. The main changes from the previous game are the updated rosters for the new season and the addition of real licensed stadiums instead of the fictional stadiums from the first game.
The available game modes are identical to those of the previous title: Exhibition, Pennant Race, Tournament, All-Star and Home Run Contest, as well as a full Team Edit mode and player database. A modified version featuring American MLB teams and players was released worldwide as World Series Baseball II.
