Synopsis

In 2190, Earth is a barren and desolate wasteland. With all natural resources exhausted, the human race's last hopes lie with a massive orbiting solar power plant known as the "Grid." Now the Grid has been invaded by a rave of evil droids from Frogfax V, intent on total subjugation of Earth. To combat these droids, an incredibly powerful and maneuverable ship, the Gridrunner, was developed. Your mission: stop the droids and save Earth! The screen depicts the “grid,” a high-energy network from which your ship, the Gridrunner, draws power. At the top of the screen are your score, high score, number of ships remaining, and number of attack waves. The goal of the game is to destroy the Gridsearch Squads before they destroy you.
