Synopsis

Excellent Toaplan shoot ("the ancient Cave"), it offers (in addition to speed ups, power ups and bombs), a very complete choice of weapons:
-Shoot: you can opt at any time for a +/- concentrated shot (from the frontal laser beam to the very wide range through all the intermediate stages)
-Head-seeker: your shot is less powerful but you have small ships that attack the enemy in melee.
-Missile: small ships follow your movements and release large missiles that hurt a lot.
So there is something for every taste and every situation to have.
PS: the game also exists under the name V-Five with a different level up system, identical to that of Gradius: you take pellets and buy the options you like (the bomb also disappears). It's up to you.
