Synopsis

Guadalcanal puts you in the heart of one of the most decisive battles of the Pacific War. In August 1942, the American Marines landed on this island of capital strategic importance, but the fight for Guadalcanal would last six months. As a commander, you manage air, land, and naval forces – from aircraft carriers to supply ships – with reconnaissance and logistics essential to victory. Patrol planes and scouts make planning easier, while weather, morale, and even malaria weaken your troops over time. The campaign can be played on either the American or Japanese side, with gameplay based on strategic and tactical maps and an icon-based interface.
