Synopsis

The mutants are back and this time, they're faster. Aboard your Mk.II fighter, you must stop Raiders from flying across the planet, picking up Earthlings and transforming them into mutants when they reach the top of the screen. When all the Earthlings have disappeared, the game is over.

If you shoot a Raider who is holding a Terran, he will drop him. You must catch the Earthling and return him to the surface. Other aliens to fear are Hive, Dynamo, Technofighter, Firebomber and Lure.

To help you in your fight, you have a long range scanner, a smart bomb, an energy cloak, a Hive convergence indicator and a hyperfate function.

Guardian II is a 1 or 2 player Defender-style side-scrolling shooter where you can go left or right. The joystick is used to steer your ship while the fire button allows you to use your weapon. In addition to the main play area, you can also see your radar, score and lives.
