Synopsis

Guardian Storm is a vertical shoot'em up with eight levels. Players collect gold which they can exchange for power-ups, bombs and extra lives between levels.
Guardian Storm uses the same fire engine as Red Hawk, and therefore can be considered a sequel of sorts. The design, however, is much more cartoonish. Harvesting powerups has become much rarer now. Instead, enemies drop more money which can be used to purchase upgrades. But with limited purchasing power, this game is much more difficult than Red Hawk. Guardian Storm also enjoyed great international success.
