Synopsis

Gun Runner is a fast-paced helicopter rescue game, in the vein of Choplifter, that takes place across eight side-scrolling levels. Your objective: locate and rescue missing men before time runs out by flying low and using a winch to retrieve them. Enemy units constantly patrol the skies; you have to shoot them down or dodge them, because any contact or shooting will cost you a life. You start with three smart bombs capable of clearing the screen, and you gain an additional one with each level you complete. Quick reflexes and precise piloting are essential to succeed.
