Synopsis

Gyruss is a tube ⁇ shooter where the player moves his ship in a circle around a central point to face waves of enemies.
Several types of opponents appear; ships, satellites, asteroids and laser barrier generators.
By destroying certain satellites, it is possible to improve its weaponry.
Progression is by jumps ("warps") from one planet to another, and each arrival on a planet gives access to a bonus stage to score additional points.
Once the Earth is reached, the cycle begins again with increased difficulty.
The game is also known for its electronic arrangement of Bach's Toccata and Fugue
