Synopsis

"Halls of Death" is an adventure game in which you, as one of many explorers, search the caves and rooms of several floors to find treasure - with the hope of coming out alive. The screen is divided into five areas: two text fields, a map of the current floor, your statistics and a representation of your surroundings or the opponent in battle. You start at the bottom of a staircase and explore rooms where traps, treasures or creatures await you. You can attack, flee or use one of four spells (sleep, teleportation, lightning, fireball), although spells can also fail. If your strength drops to zero, the game ends.
