Synopsis

Hayazashi Nidan Morita Shogi 2 is a traditional Japanese board game, similar to chess, and pitting two players against each other. The game takes place on a board of 9 squares by 9 uniform color. Each player plays one after the other. The goal is to take the opposing king. Each turn, a player can either move a piece or "parachute" a piece taken onto the playing surface. The pieces move according to their type. If a piece stops on a square occupied by an opposing piece, that piece is taken. Unlike chess, the pieces taken are put into reserve. Whoever took them can put them back into play for their own benefit later. If a piece threatens the king, there is "check". Failure is not announced, if the opponent does not notice it, we can take the king and win the game. If no parry is possible, the player is "checkmate" and loses.
