Synopsis

Heiankyo Alien is a 1979 arcade game.
You play as a kebiishi, a Heian era guard charged with protecting the city of Kyo from being invaded by aliens.
The gameplay is based on a simple but strategic principle: dig holes to trap the aliens, then bury them before they escape.
Each round takes place in a maze where all enemies are present from the start. Once all the aliens are eliminated, you move on to the next level.
