Synopsis

Developed by Horny Dog and published by Jester Interactive, Hellgate was going to be a third-person shooter for the Dreamcast, all about killing demons and riding around levels on a motorcycle. Unfortunately, the game was canceled, as the old Horny Dog website states: "It didn't help that Sega announced it was ceasing production of Dreamcast hardware, nor did one or two members of our team have the game's best interests at heart." [?] We had been developing the title for 15 months, and while many of us felt we accomplished so much, it wasn't enough to save it. ?
In March 2009, a playable beta had been leaked and now you can download it and try Hellgate on your Dreamcast!
