Synopsis
During your hiking vacation in Cornwall, you find yourself in Padstow during the Hobby Horse celebrations. These take place on May 1, when the hobby horse dances through the crowd, grabbing onto spectators as they watch. After the festivities, you strike up a conversation with an elderly Cornish couple in one of the pubs. When you tell them about your interest in legends and folklore, they begin to mention the local legend of a witch named Vianna who lived on the coast between Padstow and Bude, further north.
