Synopsis

In this game, the goal is to get the best possible hand using rules similar to poker. The strongest combination is three of a kind, followed by three aces, three kings, three queens, and so on. Next come straight flushes like Ace-Two-Three or Ace-King-Queen, then straights, flushes and pairs, with the pair of aces being the strongest. In the absence of a pair, the highest card, starting with an ace, determines the winning hand. The player starts with £1000 and aims for £10000 to win the game. If the player loses all his money, the computer wins. Each round starts with a stake of £10. After the cards are dealt, the player can bet, pay to see the computer's cards, or fold. The best hand wins the pot, unless the player folds. In the event of a tie, the money goes to the computer.
