Synopsis

"High Seas" is a strategic game about naval battles in the age of sailing ships. From a graphical deck view, the player controls their ship, while a map view helps monitor positions, especially during engagements with multiple ships. The game accounts for wind conditions affecting maneuverability and the impact of different types of ammunition on opponents' wooden hulls and sails. It can be played turn-based in 10-minute intervals or in real-time with command interruptions. A standout feature is the scenario designer. The game can be played in hot-seat mode or against a computer opponent.
