Description
The Hikaru is a high-end arcade card developed by Sega in 1999, designed as the successor to the Model 3 for even more powerful 3D games. It combines two Hitachi SH-4 processors and additional graphics processors developed with Lockheed Martin, making it one of the most powerful and expensive arcade cards of its time. Titles like Brave Firefighters, Star Wars Trilogy Arcade or Planet Harriers have run on this material. This BIOS ensures system homing and initialization of multiple processors before loading the game.
