Synopsis

Hoi is a platform game, developed by Team Hoi and published by Hollyware Entertainment, which was released in 1992. It was written by three young Belgians and it took them a lot of effort to bring it to market. And their time wasn't wasted, because as platformers go, Hoi has all the right ingredients: an undeniably cute hero, bright backgrounds, and very smooth scrolling. Unfortunately the game already had a roguelike feel for the time, but unintentionally... Sometimes you're forced to take a leap into the unknown because the screen doesn't extend far enough for you to see where you're going. The level design just isn't clever enough to make this a truly enjoyable game. The first level is the worst but if you can reach the next levels then you might like Hoi.
