Synopsis

You once again play the role of a Tokyo police inspector tasked with solving a mysterious murder. This time, your initial investigation into a corpse found floating in Tokyo Bay quickly leads you to follow the trail of clues to Hokkaido. There, with the help of local police officer Shunsuke "Shun" Saruwatari, you'll visit many popular and real-life tourist attractions while trying to uncover the truth behind an ever-increasing series of murders.
While retaining the same first-person adventure format, this game abandons the "text parser" oriented interface used in previous versions of the previous title, and instead introduces the menu system that would become typical of Japanese adventure games. The player chooses from a number of simple commands to find new evidence and advance the plot.
