Synopsis

Inspired by the principle of the classic paper role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons, the online part of Homeland designates one player as the Dungeon Master, who runs the game. Instead of directly participating in the adventure, this player controls the game world, spawning monsters, viewing player statistics and organizing events. Instead of players connecting to a dedicated game server or online service, the Dungeon Master's GameCube acts as a server, allowing up to 30 players to connect and participate in the game.
