Synopsis

Hong Kong 97 is one of those games that is unknown in Europe and the United States, but which is cult in Japan. It is in fact one of the Kusoge, games so bad that they become cult, of which Spelunker is also a part. In this game, you play as Chin, a copy of Bruce Lee, who must save Hong Kong from the threat of Tong Shau Ping brought back to life by a machine from hell.
What's interesting is that Tong Shau Ping was still alive in 1995, when the game was released, but died in 1997, when the game's action takes place.
