Synopsis

The once quiet town of Grove Town now has a crime problem with four dangerous criminals running around the town committing crimes. It's a job for you as a local policeman, but you have a problem, all the vehicles have been hidden by the criminals and only one Space Hopper is left to bounce around the city and catch them all within a limited time.

The game is viewed from the side as you move left or right along the streets, with the screen scrolling as you move. There are different street openings illustrated by a street map above the playing area. You can also see criminals on the same street. At the bottom of the screen is a crime location and you can also see your location and a ticking clock. You move through the streets looking for criminals and if you find one, you bounce on him. Three of the four criminals are armed, namely a club, thumbtacks and a gun. Get hit by the gun and the thumbtacks and you lose one of three lives. The club will daze you and waste valuable time.
